A diff or driveline breather is essential for a vehicle that is driven through water. People often fit a Snorkel but forget about the Differentials and Transmission. The problem is quite simple, Vehicle Differentials and Transmissions have to breathe due to change of temperature. The factory fits breathers, but they are normally open and sit just on top of the Diff or Transmission. If that factory breather goes under water or in mud, the debris can get sucked into you drive line. This causes real wear problem and you could find yourself stuck on the road (or off-road). If you fit one of our breather kit the problem goes away as the potential suction point is moved up high above the water line just like a snorkel. It’s a cheap way to ensure reliability and it’s easy to fit.
